The goal of this course is to provide the students with sufficient understanding of the microelectronics. The topics covered include semiconductors, PN junctions, diode models and circuits, bipolar junction transistors, MOS field effect transistors, single stage amplifiers, frequency response, current mirror, cascode stage, differential pair. This course uses small- signal and large-signal techniques to analyze and design bipolar and field effect transistor circuits.
