This is the second part of a year-long course designed for second-year college students majoring in Foreign Languages and Literature (FLL). The goal of this course is to train students to write expository and argumentative essays in English. Students will learn to generate ideas to support a clear thesis statement and work through several drafts of their essays with the help of peer review. This semester we will focus on writing argumentative essays.
